Here's an "airport hotel" (actually 9 miles away) that is just 30 minutes to Manhattan. I know this property well, having stayed here in the past. The manager DOES NOT like the BRG. He tried to negotiate "taxes" on the spot, telling me that $25.00 is "flat tax for free stay" according to "New Jersey Hotel Owners Law". After a bit of a run around, I eventually talked him/scared him out of collecting it. But, beware of being haggled here. The hotel itself is somewhat dingy, but comfortable enough. I wasn't sad to leave, though.
